Water Reactive Swim Short

The water-reactive FIONA women's shorts are made from swimsuit material and feature a straight cut and two small slits on the side. The elasticated waistband features a drawstring with Vilebrequin engraved tips. The brand's iconic turtle is found in the Shellfish and Turtles print and the tone-on-tone embroidery at the bottom left.

The print is activated when the swim trunk interacts with water. In essence, the print that is applied has a different drying speed than the Polyamide swim trunk fabric so the background absorbs water slower than the printed area creating visibility. Once the suit is submerged in water, the fabric will become saturated and the effect will not be immediately apparent, however once you leave the water the print will become visible again as the swim trunk dries. The effect is most visible when not submerged in the water since the print and background dry at different speeds.
